What Readers are saying:

I thought that the book was great because it shows the meaning of friendship. I felt sad when Freckles was in the woods by herself at night, in pain, and scared. I felt happy again when Mr. Mack and Jake came to help Freckles.

I loved the book and think it’s wonderful for kids. The drawings are amazing.

~ John, age 10

This book has a very good moral, and I think it is cool that the author is making a series. Some of the vocabulary isn’t the easiest for a beginning reader, but if a parent reads it to them, kids would really like it. The illustrations make the story fun to read.

~ Julia age 12

I liked that there was a good snake, and I liked the colors of the milk cows.
