Joan Marie Bishop Nasso was born May 17, 1950, in Chattanooga, TN, and spent the next 42 years in South Florida where she graduated from college, earning a degree in computer science. She has lived in Grundy County since 1992 and has raised her 3 sons here.
She is currently the treasurer of the Elk River Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution and the Membership Director of the Grundy County Historical Society.
