J. Douglas Adams

J. Douglas Adams is a high school band director in Northwest Georgia and a lifelong fan of fantasy and science fiction. Inspired by a misspelled word in a student’s note, he spent twenty years crafting his debut novel. Adams holds degrees from Eastern Kentucky University, the University of Cincinnati, and Liberty University. He is married with four children and three grandchildren, and plans to retire to the Virginia coast.

J. Douglas Adams is a high school band director in Northwest Georgia. He looks forward to retirement when he plans to move to the coast of Virginia and possibly open a retail store. This is his first novel. He spent twenty years crafting the story after being inspired by a student’s note he picked up from the floor of his classroom with the word “obnoxious” misspelled as “obnoc tous.”Adams holds degrees from Eastern Kentucky University, the University of Cincinnati, and Liberty University. He is happily married with four children, and three grandchildren.He has always had a passion for reading fantasy and science fiction stories. His favorite authors in these categories include: Timothy Zahn, John Scalzi, Phillip Pullman, Terry Brooks and of course, J.R.R. Tolkien.
