Derek Wade, from Lakeland, Florida, has a degree in Criminal Justice. He retired after twelve years working with juveniles in law enforcement. Soul searching led him to writing poetry. Shorty’s P.I.M.P. is his first work. He now resides in Chattanooga,Tennessee with his wife and two sons.
